Women's ministry

Christ Church East focuses on living life in community where you can connect with other believers, grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and form life-sustaining relationships. Our ministry to women happens through community groups, where on a regular basis, men and women break out for gender specific time, and weekly women’s Bible studies. We encourage all women to join and become deeply invested in a Community Group as well as a weekly Bible study. In addition, we have annual women’s retreats and occasional women’s events throughout the year.

WINTER/SPRING WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

January 21st - April 8th

Habakkuk: Learning to Live by Faith by Lydia Brownback

Excerpt from the publisher about Habakkuk Study:
At some point in life, we all wonder why God allows evil to exist in this world. Why does it appear that evil prospers? Hezekiah faced a similar situation. In this 10-week Bible study for women, Lydia Brownback explores the book of Habakkuk verse by verse, addressing the complex subject of God's wrath, his punishment for unrepentant sin, and his mercy for believers. Part of the Flourish Bible Study series.

Join us at the UNF University Center in Room #1068, down the children's hallway. Please note that registration is free, but we are asking people to purchase the book on their own. The study can be found on Amazon or Chrstianbooks.com.
